I'm looking for 3 elements to come together:
1. Class readings/texts (includes all videos/films/podcasts).
What has made an impression? What are the themes emerging for you? Make connections! Use specific quotes and/or details to show me how you really paid attention.
2. Class conversations.
What questions/issues are still unsettled for you? What do you wish you had said now that you've had time to think? Make connections!
3. School/life experiences that connect.
What has happened, what have you read, what have you discussed that reminded you of Great Ideas? What questions/issues did you go looking outside of class to answer? What did you find?
Present this as a "poster" to your classmates on Friday.
This counts as 2 quiz grades.
You will be assessed primarily on the quality and specificity of the information provided.
I'll also consider the aesthetics of the poster (neatness is king here, creativity is always helpful).
I'll also consider the preparedness and enjoyable-ness of your presentation. You don't have to entertain, but we shouldn't be bored!
